Webby Award Nomination for ‘The Hustle’ channel on YouTube, 2025
In 2025, The Hustle Youtube channel received a nomination for a Webby Award in the 'Business Video & Film’ category, defined as 'original digital or streaming series or video channels devoted to the business world including business marketing, financial matters, education, insights and thought leadership’. I worked extensively on this channel for several years, becoming the lead editor, and creating and refining style guidelines and templates for wider team enablement.
Hardford Courant Features my National Park Travel Series on YouTube, 2024
The Hartford Courant published a feature on my YouTube channel and my van build in the opinions section of the July 30th edition. Didn’t realize it would take up a whole page! My YouTube channel is what I do in my free time, and I’ve been so honored to have people take interest in what I make as a passion project.
Like so many others when the pandemic hit in early 2020, Daly felt trapped and isolated in a big city. “That was the catalyst to finally encourage me to make a change because I asked myself, ‘If not now, when?’”
‘Less Than Famous’ Panel, VidCon 2018
In 2018 I was selected to speak on the ‘Less Than Famous’ panel at VidCon in Anaheim, CA. At the time, I had less than 1,000 YouTube subscribers, and was chosen for the panel out of hundreds of submissions. I was so brand-new, it was such an honor, especially since I was still finding my footing. All these years later, it’s still one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do.
I sadly don’t still have the programming and it’s no longer listed online, but I do have an embarrassingly amateurly-made video of the experience back when I was fresh out of college, so if you want to see that… you must really like me. Dig back far enough on my channel and I think it’s still there? 🙈
